This house belongs to Nigerian oil tycoon and the richest black woman on earth, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija. The house which is located in Ikoyi, Lagos, is currently under construction and is at the final stage. According to a reliable source, the house is being constructed by German construction giant, Julius Berger and is said to be worth over 700 millions dollars. The house which is a secret and closely monitored project, is expected to be launched later this July. According to the source, the house will be occupied by Mrs Alakija and her husband. With its’ unique architectural design, the beautiful building is bullet-proof and does not feature any windows – instead being fitted with “light wells”.
  The light wells, vertical shafts roofed with glass, allow in natural light, but there are no windows on any of the interior walls. The house, according to unconfirmed statistics, will be the 4th most expensive residential building in the world and number one in Africa. Our source while talking about the worth of the building joked about the paint used on the building and said: “If they give you the money of the paint used on a small part of the wall, the money is enough for you to make a fortune in your entire life”.
